Not a best friend story (when was the last time I even had a best friend? High school? College?) but probably the person I miss most from LA was a coworker who had the cube next to me and was just the best person to work next to ever. He had a great sense of humor and didn't have any of those obnoxious habits that become very obvious when you are working in an open plan office and I wish I could have brought him with me when I transferred here.
